MCFLY DO-DO-DO-DO-DO-DO! COMIC RELIEF SINGLE

McFly will sing the official single of Red Nose Day 2005. All About You will be released on 7 March 2005. Penned by Tom from the band, the song is part of a double a-side single with a version of You've Got a Friend. It was recorded at the famous Abbey Road studios with a full 60-piece orchestra.

McFly’s star has risen high in 2004. In less than a year they’ve released four top-five singles from their debut album, including two number ones.

Kevin Cahill, CEO of Comic Relief said, “McFly are at the top of their game and we are delighted that they are supporting the campaign, we are sure to have a hit on our hands and hope to raise as much money as possible to help people in real trouble at home in the UK and in Africa.”

In recent years Red Nose Day has had an enormously successful run of popular cover versions but his is the first original song since 1991's The Stomp. Comic Relief organiser Richard Curtis asked McFly for their involvement and the band returned to him with a choice of three songs. All About You was chosen by Richard Curtis's young daughter as her favourite.

In the video McFly get together in the recording studios to lay down the track aided by some mischievous celebrity friends including Davina McCall, Fearne Cotton, Simon Amstell, Ruby Wax, Johnny Vegas and Graham Norton.
