Jennifer Saunders attended the UK premiere of Shrek 2 tonight alongside stars Julie Andrews, Antonio Banderas and John Cleese.
In a nod to the ogre of the title, the outside of the Odeon Leicester Square was decked out in a special green carpet instead of the usual red.
Saunders had this to say about voice of Shrek Mike Myers: "He's one of the sweetest, quietest people. I think like a lot of comedians you imagine they're going to be these over-the-top characters and he was just lovely. Nice. Normal," she told BBC Radio 1.
The film is released nationwide on 2 July when Jennifer Saunders can also be seen in a Shrek 2 Special, 7.30 pm, Sky One.
