Celebrity Fame Academy begins
Comic Relief Does Fame Academy kicked off tonight and time was called on Al Murray's stay at the house. He was the first of the thirteen celebrities to leave after a final student vote between him and impressionist Jon Culshaw. Jennifer Saunders was present in the Academy to support husband Adrian Edmondson.
From Wednesday 2 March one student will be voted out every night until the live final on Red Nose night itself.
Kim Medcalf is the 2/1 favourite to win, but it's not just about the singing. Jenny Eclair was saved by the judges' vote and her and Gina Yashere's lunacy could make them this year's Ruby Wax and Jo Brand.
